How Can I Delete or Deactivate My Account? – easyStorage Help center

We’re sorry to see you go. Under GDPR regulations, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your personal data. In addition, we also offer the option to deactivate your account if you may wish to return later. Please see below:

1. Account Deactivation (Temporary Closure)

If you no longer wish to use our services but may return in the future:

We can deactivate your account.
Your login will be disabled and you will stop receiving communications from us- such as email and other communication channels.
Your data will be securely retained, so if you return using the same email, your account can be reactivated.
This is not a permanent deletion of your data.

2. Permanent Data Deletion

If you’d like to delete your account and all associated personal data, you can request this under Article 17 of the GDPR (Right to Erasure):

We will delete your personal data as far as technically and legally possible.
Some data may still need to be retained where required by law — for example, billing records, tax documents, or invoices, which we must keep for accounting and compliance purposes under GDPR Article 17(3)(b).
Once deletion is completed, your account cannot be restored.

How to Submit a Request

In the form, please:

Select whether you want to deactivate your account or permanently delete your data.
Provide the email address associated with your account.

Step 2: Identity Verification

To protect your data:

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
If the email address used does not match our records, we may contact you to confirm.

Step 3: When Will My Data Be Deleted?

Once your identity is confirmed, we will process your request within 30 days.
You will receive a confirmation email when your account has been deactivated or deleted.
