If your payment didn’t go through or card declined when trying to pay for your easyStorage unit, don’t worry – it happens! We understand it can be a bit frustrating, but it’s usually easy to sort out. Below are some common reasons why payments can fail (including if your card was declined) and what you can do to fix the issue.
Why Did My Payment Fail?
There are a few common reasons why a payment might not go through – including your card being declined:
Insufficient Funds: Make sure there’s enough money in your account to cover the payment.
Expired Card: Check that your card is still valid. If it’s expired, you’ll need to request a new one from your bank.
Mistyped Details: It’s easy to make a small mistake. Double-check your card number, expiry date, and CVV code.
Bank Limits: Some banks have spending limits or block certain types of payments. Contact your bank to check if this is the case.
Suspicious Activity: Banks sometimes block payments if they think the transaction looks unusual. A quick call to your bank can clear this up.
Technical Problems: Sometimes it’s just a temporary issue – either with your internet connection or the payment system. Try again later or use a different card.
What Should I Do Next?
If you’ve worked out what went wrong, here’s what you can do:
Check Your Bank Balance: Make sure there are enough funds available.
Double-Check Payment Details: Look over the card details you entered to ensure everything is correct.
Contact Your Bank: They can tell you why the payment was declined and help you resolve the issue.
Update Your Card Details: If you’ve received a new card, log in to your easyStorage account and update the information.
Try a Different Card: If needed, you can use another card or payment method.
